About

Simply Impression is the creative studio of architect and artist Fawzia Ghafoor Khawaja.

Drawing from a background in architecture, each piece begins with the relationship between structure, light, proportion, and space. Rather than treating art as ornament, the work explores how geometry, rhythm, and carefully carved forms can create moments of stillness and contemplation.

Influenced by modern architecture, minimalism, and the geometric language of Square Kufic, every composition seeks balance between presence and absence—where light becomes a material and negative space carries as much meaning as the forms themselves.

Alongside original contemporary artwork, Simply Impression also preserves a curated Heritage Collection of selected Islamic designs created over the past decade. These pieces remain available as part of the studio's history while the current body of work continues to evolve toward a more architectural and contemporary direction.

Whether creating original paintings, limited collections, or thoughtfully designed spaces, the goal remains the same: to create work that is quiet, enduring, and deeply meaningful.
